Bhavik’s research interests lie at the intersection of the human dimensions of engineering, water policy, and governance. His work focuses on understanding the challenges and decision-making processes of water, wastewater, and stormwater managers, particularly in adopting new technologies, climate change adaptation, and resilience-building strategies. Currently, Bhavik is exploring policy aspects of renewable energy integration and green stormwater practices in public infrastructure. Driven by a commitment to science-based policies that enhance societal and environmental resilience, Bhavik aims to bridge engineering innovation with community needs, advancing sustainable resource management for diverse populations.
Through over six years of policy advocacy experience in India, Bhavik supported local, state, and federal governments on essential issues such as WaSH and inclusive urban development. He holds a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Environmental Management and Law from National Law University, Delhi.
